Fortified Wine is made from mixing a maximum of 51% by volume made wine and 49% by volume Ethanol to a maximum strength of 21.9%. This is used in the beverage industry as an alternative to Ethanol in the RTD sector.

We can offer two products both of which have a characteristic taste suitable for RTD’s.
Pack Size
Available in road tankers, 1,000 litre IBC’s, 205 litre drums, 25 & 20 litre cans. The minimum we supply is 20 litres.
Licence
Duty Free Made Wine is only available for supply with a licence available free from H M Revenue & Customs. You will also be asked to provide AWRS Certification and a Due Diligence Pack. Please see below for more information on where to apply for a license.
Small User/Private Individual
Fortified Wine is either available by paying the HM Revenue & Customs Duty approval, which is currently £3.8482 per litre plus VAT and having AWRS approval and a licence from HMRC to receive Duty Free Made Wine. The minimum quantity we supply is 1 X 20 litres.
